Actors and Performers Professional Profiles - Headshots

As you would know one of the most important marketing tools for an Actor or Performer is their headshot. Your heahshot will be the the first thing your casting agency will look at when casting for parts. It's like you Visual C.V. That's why it is so important to have a good professional headshot for your  "Visual C.V"

I was fortunate enough to have worked with a number of Actors and Performers while managing a portrait studio in a studio in Couch End, North London. We had a contract with a local Casting Agency who sent me their actors. I worked with many children starting in the industry.

As you enter the industry, you will have many Headshots taken. Remember your first one headshot make sure to Frame it because each year you will get another one. A New One as you grow older, for a specific part, a new hair style, a serious one, a Fun one and the one for your first Big part in a movie!

Choosing a photographer to take your headshot is always a big task. You can always stay with a photographer you like or find a new one from time to time this will give you a variety. 

What makes a good Headshot is one that looks and feels like you. One that connects to the viewer, give you a "feel" one that could put you into a "character"
