About Mark
Sowbona - Hello
Mark is a photographer originally from the colourful sun-kissed city of Durban, South Africa.
Growing up in South Africa I was constantly surrounded by colourful stories. Having always lived along the coast, I was naturally drawn to the water. My family moved to Durban in the mid 80’s, this is where my love for the ocean really grew. Spending my teenage years learning to surf with friends, every weekend at the beach was an adventure.
I have been creating imagery for clients for the past 25 years, having a natural passion for creativity - creating makes me happy. (smiley face)
When I am not behind the camera, I am spending time with friends, learning new things, going on adventures with my wife Lyndsey and Molly (my dog) or you can find me in Devon or Portugal chasing waves.

““ We have now visited Mark 3 times to have our family photographed. He captured our 2 children perfectly and it was hard to decide which photographs to have, as they were all unique and told a story.
As parents we thought we knew our children best and how best they should be portrayed. However Mark guided us through the sessions to deliver life capturing memories which we could only have dreamed of. We will be visiting him through every stage of our children’s youth to make sure we don’t miss a moment. “
