Whats the BIZ in RUGBY ?

In 2015 and 2016 I had an a opportunity to work with the 02 on their BIZ RUGBY Fund raiser. Its a Sevens event with teams from the various businesses and organisations in London. They come together each year for this Rugby event to raise funds for the various charities  they support. 

To be honest I did not know what to expect from this event. When I arrived at the stadium my heart started pounding, the Foo Fighters "All My Life" was blasting throughout the stadium, this song kicked off the event! Oh my goth this was going to be a great day.

The day was filled with loads of energy, so much positivity coming from all the teams and supporters. I was commissioned to photograph the event to tell the story of the day. Also to supply each team member with a Team Photo to keep.

Dylan Hartley the England Rugby Captain was there to show his support. The kids got to meet one of their sporting heroes. There was even a section just for the kids. A separate field for them to play the game. They got to play with others and to get some one on one coaching from Dylan.

I was commissioned to photograph this event to help tell the story of the day, for people to get a "feel" of the event. To capture the great vibes to showcase this good cause.
